The first week in residence at the farm, we find that a house built by a tobacco farmer might have some issues 100 years later. The image to the left is a visual representation of the leak in the roof in the living room. Many roofers have attempted, and failed to fix. Another roof guy is due to come out tomorrow. Good luck Roof Guy, here is my credit card number.

The image to the left is a visual representation of the 100 year old hand dug well that serves the house. We had a Well Guy come out today and take a look to see if he can figure out why we have 11psi water pressure and smells like sulfur. Well Guy went into the scary basement showing no fear. (Should I mention the giant snake skins draping from the rafters I thought? Nawwww) Well guy found the expansion tank, and the pump from the Nixon years. He says he’s never seen “one of these” before, referring to a 20 foot deep hand-dug well that relies on rain water. He said we are going to need a new well. Thank you Well Guy, do you take American Express?
